There are some editors of Journals who are open and not yet acquired the tunnel vision. One such editor Dr. R. Felton of Metal Powder Report of Elsevier Ltd., had, without any delay published our findings on Transition Metal Powders in Metal Powder Report Volume 63, Issue 9, October 2008, Pages 22-28, although he had modified the title and abstract. We thank him and the Elsevier Ltd., for showing true courage and impartiality required by and implicitly assumed to be present in a true Journalist. Coming months will demonstrate the important lead taken by MPR in reporting this new and unknown aspect of science. Metal Powder Report has been the premier source of information about the powder metallurgy industry for more than 50 years.

Abstract
It’s not often that Metal Powder Report departs from the path of hard facts into the somewhat ‘mushier’ area of metaphysics, but opportunities crop up. While recognising that science has its fair share of charlatans, one such opportunity was presented by a paper submitted by an Indian researcher in which he details work aimed at probing the effects on powder samples where changes were apparently generated by thought. Some will laugh, others will cry, but perhaps among our readers there are those who might be able to help elucidate further the phenomena described…
